While we have lots of players to have played EVE in the past, it doesn't seem like EVE is too popular now-a-days. As much as I loved it, I have a hard time getting into it.
i was about to go back recently and found out there's an event going on that raises the reward for ganking and a story event that makes mining dangerous in high sec. so..it seems like the devs have a constant agenda to keep pushing combat even in places that would normally appeal to a non-combat play style. so disappointing. i feel like they're trying to be edgy, but it really puts me off. :-( i dunno, i might try a little mining when the silly egg hunt is over..but then i wonder if hulkageddon is still a thing (sigh).
