New SyFy Shows

Has anyone seen Dark Matter or Killjoys yet? They are two new shows on SyFy. 2 episodes in to Dark Matter and I am hooked. Killjoys is only 1 episode in but it looks good too.

I've watched Dark Matter and it is soo good. :) I was a bit disappointed that in the first episode, the Filipino actor was made the generic east-Asian stereotype, but he's been given more lines in the second episode. Despite the fairly egregious stereotype, he and the rest of the show are really awesome. I love it. :)

Yeah when he busted out those swords there was much eye rolling to be had. :-)

I watched Killjoys. It's trying too hard to be Firefly, and Luke MacFarlane is trying too hard to distance himself from his role in Brothers and Sisters as the boyfriend of the gay brother. I'll keep watching though.

I totally thought Firefly knockoff at first. We'll see. :-)

And firefly was just a copy of Starhunter (2300), Cowboy Bebop, Outlaw Star, et al. There is nothing new under the sun.

i've seen dark matter...i kind of like it. there aren't many newer shows i like...but the asian guy is major eye candy on dark matter. :-)
