Space NPC ships level 50-60 have had their Hit Points reduced.
This change affects Space NPC ships in Normal and Advanced modes.

If they want to make the Elite and Advanced versions harder, they should give the enemies more DPS, not just more hull. More hull just makes it boring as hell and tedious. More DPS would mean you have to watch your healing and it wouldn't take for hell and ever. Hopefully this change will make Advanced less boring.

Nick - Agreed! As an Engineer Circling like a vulture can be tedious. With my heals and buffs on rotation I need higher DPS to handle the Hull Strengths. I seldom lose shields and if I do I can get em right back. Then sit back and spend 5 minutes wiping out a NPC cruiser.

What do you all think about the NPC scaling?

Azure Nebula Rescue use to be one of my favorite missions, but on Advanced its almost impossible. You have to clear three groups in three minutes, but they've changed the mission so even the smallest groups have big enemies you have to fight. It's a bit frustrating.

We did an Infected Space Advanced earlier (two high dps ships, one in the lower middle field and two low dps ships) and I can say that this ISA, compared to the one we did last week, was MUCH easier.

So, in my opinion, the NPC scaling worked.

And you have to consider that most of us haven´t upgraded all our weapons and consoles yet - which will take some time. But if this goal is accomplished then I think we won´t notice any difference between the old elite missions and the new advanced ones.

P.S.: Azure Nebula Advanced is new, isn´t it? If I remember it right then there was only one difficulty level (normal) before DR?
