Can't wait for "Miracle Day" this summer. The last (mini-)series, "Children of Earth" was mind-blowingly good, so I'm looking forward to seeing what they do next.

Wait, it's playing on Starz?

oh I might have got a bit over excited, is this now an American show? and not done by BBC Wales?

Like many BBC shows now it is a co-production (between BBC Cymru, BBC Worldwide(BBCs commercial wing) and Starz) to get some american money for the expensive bits...

Here in the States it is airing on Starz! instead of the usual BBC America (though, maybe that comes later, like often happens, the new season of Dr. Who seems to be the exception). Don't know how it's being aired in the U.K.

But yeah, it's a partnership between BBC and Starz to bring Torchwood back. Starz was always my favorite premium movie channel anyway, but I've been too cheap to pay for one. They'll be getting my business at least as long as they are airing new episodes of Torchwood.

I've missed me some Cap'n Jack! I just really wish they hadn't killed of Ianto Jones. I really Liked Toshiko too.

I cant Waite to see the new episode tonight but its kind of Ironic because England gets to see it a whole 8 days late :unsure:

Yup, whole UK needs to wait a week.

I seem to recall one of our British fleetmates mentioning that Dr. Who has the season premiere event in the U.S. because they derive substantially more revenue from the U.S. market. Don't know the validity of that statement, but does make some sense.

Not to rub salt in a wound, I can't wait for it to air tonight.

Just watched the second episode of the new torchwood. Fantastic. I thought the air steward was quite funny, if somewhat a bit stereotypical. "It was only one time...." lol
