My mother always told me that if you can't say anything good about a person, you shouldn't say anything at all. Osama Bin Laden is dead... Good!

There were no US casualties which it's self is great news. Unfortunately there were some civilian casualties, a woman that was used as a shield by one of Bin Laden's men. As well, one of Bin Laden's sons were killed.

I can't remember if the forums are politics-free, I know it's discouraged in in-game fleet chat. Someone in charge--what's the official policy?

There isn't a policy for or against political discussions. We just don't want them to descend into an argument.

Dont want to rain on your parade but this is gonna have serious repercussions worldwide , just be very very careful, whoever takes over is going to make their mark in history, and someone will take over from Bin Laden.

As they said oiver the coming weeks we need to increase security. All I see now is that the war on terror killed him the problem is that thia will instil him as a martar to the cause and more terror will unfold on the world. America and Britain the 2 main targets. We cant touch his money which is now his sons and in my eyes im glad we got him but at the same time I wont be going to any major airports for a long time.

Bin Ladens's death is a serious blow to al Qaeda. Bin Laden was the figure head and planner of the organization, without him, they'll loose direction and purpose. Sure, there will be some that rise up to take his place, but noone like Bin Laden. When people join al Qaeda, they swear an oath, not the the organization, but to Bin Laden, himself. This is, if nothing, a serious blow to their morale and a clear message to each and every one of them; if you fuck with us, we will get you, no matter who you are.

I dont often blindly follow the 'Western' mood but I'll make an exception today, and I think Obama will get a healthy spike in the opinion polls. Well done USA ya got him eventually!

I wonder why his corpse was afforded that luxury. He twisted the Islamic faith to his whim in order to manipulate others into murdering hundreds of innocents, he's lucky we didn't have him stuffed and mounted.

Because the last thing we need to do is piss of any other Muslims by not following their beliefs, even if its for an extremists.

I think his burial at sea perfect. Now there is no shrine for the extremists to rally by.
