Uncommon Data Samples

Included in Season 2.0 are some new data samples. These data samples are Uncommon and come bound to your character. The only way to get these Ucommon Data Samples are to win the new scanning minigame. I'm curious to find out what data samples have been found so far.

I've gotten:
Anyon Particle Trace
Beta-Tachyon Particle Trace
Trianium Particle Trace.

Has anyone found any others?

I think Mil has one of the beta tach particles, not sure, will check tonite. Edit- yes it was.

Sometimes i win the game and still dont get anything special, i get the star but its on 1 sample of a normal type. Sometimes i get extra's and the one time i got the oddball.

I just hope they come up with uses for them.

I got one last night that was not one of those, but I can't remember the exact name. It was another particle trace (I guess they're all particle traces?), but the name started with a 'D'. Once I get home tonight and boot the came up, I'll take a look.

I got it in the RA B'Trans sector.

It was on tribble, but I got a Duderon Particle. I remember it cause the name has Dude in it.

Has anyone seen any uncommon data samples with images different than the one I posted above?

They all have the same symbol, which makes sorting them a nightmare. I've got about 10 or so different types at the moment. Let's see...

Anyone know what they're used for? I'm guessing a Memory Alpha update. A dev posted that if you have a 'full set' then you can hand them in there.

Oh, and apparently there's a Methogenic one too... Not sure if I have that or not.

I know there is a bug in regards to the rare particles. But does anyone know if you have some banked will they count to the total collection, or is it best to wipe them out and start fresh?

The post-2.0 patch suggested that banked rare particles do not count. Thanks a lot Cryptic - I put in all that work collecting the damn things and now I have to start again...

SO I got trace tracker last night. does nothing. My next question is should I throw away the 30 particles I have in the bank and the 10 I have in inventory? They are saying that you need to do trace tracker for something down the road, but they are not saying anything about keeping the particles?

From what I've read, you should keep them. There should be accolade in-game right now for when you get all 10 of them, but it's broke. Hopefully that'll be fixed eventually.

Later on, they should be included into Memory Alpha in some form or function. So you'll be able to craft them into items or something like that.

The really annoying thing right now is that they don't stack. Which according to some Dev posts on the forums, they should be doing. Hopefully, when they get that fixed, they won't be taking up so much room.

I'm jealous that you have enough that they are taking so much room! I'm only got 4 of them with one duplicate, and I do the scanning minigame all the time!

To be honest I got into craftin. I found it was an easy way to make some quick energy credits and turn them around for gear I wanted instead of looking for loot. So I have been farming a bit, and thats how I got them. Of course crafting right now is nerfed since all you get is technology samples.
