I was having a look through the forums and came across this...

It looks, awesome, overpowered and I really don't want to come across one in PVP! :)

Ouch! That certainly looks powerful. Would like to see a little more of her flying about though; from that clip, the Galaxy X looks pretty ugly to me. :(

just a few little bits i picked up in the forum, it looks fugly now because the new Galaxy model base isn't on the test server yet, but i saw the screenies and it looks AMAZING!!! And apparently it's been classified as a dreadnaught instead of a cruiser w/e the hell that means. Also, if anyone knows what BO slots this thing has I would love to know.

Galaxy X > Death Star..........they don't have the Riker maneuver ;)

Looks like its that same as the Assualt Cruiser.

Actually I heard from a reliable source that it also has one bonus BOFF station, occupied by a retired admiral with irumodic syndrome. But his only attack is being mildly grumpy, which deals slightly less damage than the average tribble bite.

She's a beauty, I was excited to see her on the TNG series finale, and I'm excited to see her in STO. I have faced one in PVP but luckily I didn't get the phaser cannon.

This is one impressive fighting machine alright! I would love to have one fighting on my side.

Well, the power to destroy a planet is insignificant next to the power of the Force, but regardless that is one sexy beast. I'll take two, please.

I bought one last weekend and tried it out. It was fun. The ability to use cannons is nice and that big phaser is a good touch, though it takes over two minutes to recharge. The cloaking device is an interesting addition as well. With no more Romulus I guess the treaty of algeron no longer applies

Was disappointed that my tier 4 escort (Defiant class) didn't have a cloaking device! But good point Jerran! /endQQ

Yeah, I agree. I never bought the whole thing about how Fed ships didn't have cloaking devices cause they had better sensors and didn't need them. They still serve a tactical position.
