BGO - Battlestar Galactica Online

Has anybody else heard of this? Coming out in the fall. I'm quite excited.

So am I the only one who thinks the fleet of Vipers in the trailer looks like a bunch of sperm, off to fertilize an egg?

Looks pretty sweet to me. A year seems like a pretty short time frame considering all we have here is a trailer and a newsletter. Not any cold hard facts about game play. I really enjoyed the second BSG series, so I'd be up for giving this a go. Honestly, any space based MMO sounds good to me, lol.

I'll be keeping my eyes open for this but we just need more information.

It certainly won't play like STO because as far as I know they only know of 12 planets (colonies) that support life? and no idea where the cylon home world is. They'll be no seeking out new life to speak of.

I bet it's entirely PvP based.. yeah that makes most sense with the short development time. That could actually be pretty awesome in a hardcore way. I mean surely they won't make us fight Cylons in PvE then go fight them in PvP too? It'd get so dull.

LOVED the show, even liking caprica, but this game doesnt sound like a great idea to me. I think i'll wait for black prophecy or jumpgate evolution to play a good space fighter game.
