City of Heroes - Going Rogue

wondered just how many former city of heroes players we had in fleet and if there would be any interested in opening a branch of stonewall with the launch of going rogue soon

As former leader of Rainbow Alpha Force on Victory I offer our wonderful base if there is any interest we could reclaim Victory as the unofficial gay server

please reply if u have or would be interested in moving a toon to victory or any other server of choice. as I stated o victory there is a full equipped base sitting there but we could create a new supergroup

I've got a lvl 50 DOM on infintiy and I can prolly transfer. I'm a little rusty and I'm sure I'll need some pointers on those recipe things but yeah that sounds cool. If we only have CoV do we need to buy the expansion?

yes jason I think depending on when u got cov and when u stopped u may have both as both games we made basically 1 and they gave access members who only had 1 game

I run the auxillary group for one of the larger SG's on Virtue, if anyone is ending up there. Its a mixed group, but we do have all the base amenemities if you just want access to those things. I'm also open to forming coalitions with other groups. My global is Handout.

I've actually never cancelled my subscription so I'll have to check with Play NC cuz I still can only get CoV on my acct.

I belong to City of Gaymers which has a presence for Heroes mainly on Victory (though some Protector and Virtue) and for Villians mainly on Liberty and some on Victory redside. I am the somewhat wayward child and make my home on Protector. We have MANY groups on Victory for your choice of genre (water, space, an all manly-woman group, bears, fantasy (D&D, get your mind of the gutter lol)) and we are always welcoming new players or new coalitions. Before you contact support open the game and try creating a new character. You should be able to immediately choose Hero or Villain. The two games were effectively merged into one entity a while back. But if you started out with just Villains you will only see the villain icon, villain start screen etc, but you should still be able to create a hero as well.

Anyway, have fun, try it out, LOTS of improvements in the last 2 years. =D

I actually pre-ordered GR, and re-upped my CoH a few weeks ago.. and I've been playing hooky from STO.. :P

I have characters all over the place... what server is this planned for? I'd be interested in toolin' around Paragon, or the Isles til GR comes out if anyone is playing currently.

So I just got a new desktop and I've been transferring all my games over to it. WoW transferred fine and so did STO, now when I got to CoV I started to have issues with the install. I just had CoV and not CoH so I had the original 4 install disks. I kept having issues with the install so I finally uninstalled the intaller program and downloaded the PC client directly from PlayNC. I also pre-ordered the the expansion so I'd have access to CoH. The patches took all night to install but this morning when I finally ran the game it login screen and the game kept stuttering and strobing. It was painful to look at. I could barely see my character. I tried playing with with graphics settings but it only helped a tiny bit. I tried running it in safe mode and it didn't help. My comp is an HP Pavilion Elite AMD Phenomâ„¢ II Quad-Core. Windows 7 home premium. Graphics card is a ATI Radeon HD 5450 Series, 8G RAM, 512 dedicated video memory, 3.0 GHz. This comp is more than adequate so why am I having this problem? Any suggestions on how to fix it? :unsure:

hey jason as far as I can remember coh has always had an issue with ATI cards are u sure ur drivers are current?

I will be activating my acct next week and creating the new sg on victory I'm hoping to name the SG Stonewall if anyone has any suggestions pls post them

If you're account is active go to the forums, the hardware gods are great helping with that kind of stuff.

Cool thanks, It was a problem with the drivers and I had to update (Damn ATI) I'm going to transfer my main from Infinity this week.

I just re subbed to check out GR. I'm mostly on Guardian, but have a few other toons scattered on other servers. ATM I'm playing a new 2 gun blaster named Amasiara. I'm Margali on the global channels. I joined Stonewall channel last night but didn't see anyone else there.

Except that now that as I was downloading the new update for STO, my computer BSOD'd (I hate this pile of crap) and now STO crashes on start up.

Worse, the update for CoH is taking longer than the re-download of STO. :(

Played around with GR last night. A little disappointed that the heavy clockwork parts (like the builder / construction Clockworks) are not included in the costume creator, but I was still able to make something that reminded me of the original Borg from Rifts.

Mostly. Except for the head. And the back. :3

OK I've really gotten into the whole Going Rogue thing. I re-made my red Borg into something that looks uncannily like the CA-4 Dead Boy armour from the same game (Rifts). Really fun to play, got a brilliant set of claws on it. ^.^

Then the server went bananas and my new friend and I had to get onto completely different toons because it kept telling me my toon was still in the process of logging out. >..

I've been playing on and off. Mostly my toons on Guardian, but I rolled up a "Margali" on Virtue. I'm sort of monitoring the Stonewall global channel, but I never see anyone else on it.

I'd be happy to join you guys on Virtue some time, just need to let me know when.
