XXX edition

The Mar-Apr edition is the 30th issue for the Times :) Milestone!


Would welcome ideas and contributions on any and all!


Will be thinking along these lines:



  • News

  • The Times at 30 - a look back at past issues and editors!

  • Articles (line of work, science, interests)

  • STO game updates (like the new S9 stuff upcoming/new ESD)

  • Fleet updates (the forum event that just took place, any from KDF/Rom sides, PvP revamp?)

  • Other guilds (if interest)

  • Serialisation of Dax_Aussie_Boy's story

  • Game/TV entertainment (by Nick)

  • GLBT updates (eg England's equal marriage laws passed recently)

  • Quiz section


Any other ideas/suggestions appreciated!

Lol... quite a juicy edition this will be, then. :)

I could write:

1) Something about the forum event in which I zealously participated and ended second. :P

2) Maybe something about the science of a Dyson sphere as well? Or did we do that one already... *too lazy to check*

I don't know anything yet about S9 as I'm not on Tribble.

Also when's the deadline?

hehe yes the forum event will be nice, if only i had a desktop with me...doh! lol next year.....>:)

science of dyson sphere would be great idea! we've not done the science bit!

s9 will probably unveil itself over the next few weeks...the deadline is around the 20th april so i can have time to compile stuff

I'll be doing a Fleet foundry mission review for you... mission played - review underway. Will have a Stonewall / Star Trek Vegas con event poster for you, and probably some wrap-up photos from the mystery location event, I'm thinking? I can submit the media materials if Chipz is doing a write-up?

Hi Voleron! Only if it's okay with you that I'm writing about the event, since you organised it and all... I've still got all the images saved on my PC, but some high-res stills from the movies would be nice to add to the article. I can contact you directly about them when I need them. I think I'll start writing this or next week.
