Hello Stonewall!

I am looking into having us have a "Game of the Day" for each day of the week. The idea being if you really enjoy X game, we all make more of an effort to play that one on it's promoted day. General time availability in GMT would go a long way too!

But first, I got to see what people are still playing, what everyone is interested in, and what is reasonable. I'd also like to hear from you regarding what sort of events you'd like to see in-game such as STO mass running TFOs or fresh characters that have full fleet teams running missions from beginning to end together etc. Also definitely mention if some else posts something you agree with!

I have ideas but I'd rather not impose them and first get a sense of what our community wants to do together!

Here are some games I'd love to play with the community:

  • Starship simulator
  • Racing games
  • Board games - Clue, TableTop Sim stuff or whatever
  • Keep Talking and Nobody Explodes or any fun party game
  • Retro TFO nights in STO (like the original Borg ones - both space and ground)

I would love to get play with a group on STO to get all the way through the quests on any of the story lines.
also i think it would be fun to get involved in ?Raids? (IDK if that is what it is called in STO, and doing special events.

I'd love to play more boardgames (I used to organize them, but my mental health prohibits that nowadays), and it would be rad if we could play Warframe with more people.

Im always a fan of "pick up, put down" games, things that you can just pop in and play.. no certain level restrictions, no having to obligate yourself to continuously playing.
Here are some examples of games I think would be fun for our community to pop in and play with no obligations...

The Fall Guys (Free 2play: Crossplay - PC/Xbox/PS5/Switch/Mobile)

Among us (Free 2play: Crossplay - PC/Xbox/PS5/Switch/Mobile)

Overwatch 2 (Free 2play: Crossplay - PC/Xbox/PS5/Switch/Mobile)

The Finals (Free 2play: Crossplay - PC/Xbox/PS5)

First of all, I'd definitely second doing STO quests and storylines together, along with doing some themed TFO nights when people can. Beyond that, though, I have to admit that there aren't many multiplay games that I play. Would not mind participating in board game-adjacent stuff, though, where possible.

Hiya.

The only multiplayer games I'm truly interested in are ones with common goals.  Ones which encourage camaraderie and cooperation.  Especially ones where we get to build our own city or the like.  I think those are few and far between nowadays, however.

I'm far less interested in doing something just for the sake of it (such as dailies) or for new shiny pixels to upgrade the old, duller pixels.

Apart from that I too would be interested in more board or party games.

I tend to be available weekday evenings apart from Monday and Wednesday and weekends.  This is Pacific time.

Cheers.

All I can think of is that I heard players mention an annual SGN events called Reflection Day or something like that. Mirror Universe themed events basically. I heard they're pretty fun. But I can't remember those ever happening since I came along few years back. I wonder if those might have a comeback...?

In general I only really play STO when it comes to multiplayer games. The reason is time. I tried two MMOs once and couldn't keep up with both. There were just too many events and fun stuff happening on both and not enough time to play either of them properly. So I will just stick to STO and occasional single player game on a side. STO can get a bit tedious since new content is getting delayed more and more, but I have found couple of tricks how to make it still spicy and interesting even after years of playing.

Yea we can defiantly look into "Reflection Day" making a come back possibly in the new year.
Its always good to get feedback from the people who play/have heard of it, as that encourages us to keep the events going knowing folk like it.
Thanks for that.
