I like it! The font size is a little small for rank, imho. I made extra sure my PR rank was clearly visible in big letters! Of course, I was summarily dismissed by Dave when I requested that it be laced in gold-like boarders with the mention of how awesome and beautiful I was

I've bumped up all the fonts half a dozen points

So I decided to break out my GIMP skills and this is what I came up with for my own sig after 9 hours lol!

The most time consuming part was probably cutting out my character and ship from in-game images partyly because I took the pics at /renderscale 3 so they were like 7680x4320.

My main is liberated Borg and I've been flying my Borg'ified Breen Raider a lot lately (it's fairly decent if you learn how to position to exploit the 30% flanking damage). So I went with a balance between a UFP scheme with some Borg color choices.

I am loving the game. I completed my first playthrough (Human male warrior) asap as to not get major spoilers in those rare moments I happen to appear on the interwebz, but I am in my second playthrough (Kossith female mage) now at about 40 hours in and at least 15 of that are in the Hinterlands. I love it! And once more the romances are done great!
Also, soundtrack is epic! (and I don't usually really notice the soundtrack, so that is saying something).

The only thing I am a bit disappointed by is that I haven't come across a particular dwarf and his son yet... :(

If I had to guess - pure supposition, of course - this is a backend means to limit level-match based powerlevelling.

me too...my devnobabble translator exploded with that post

as with Voleron, I'm only doing DOFF missions on my remaining toons, the content isn't there for me with DR, a shame...it hasn't resonated as well as LoR did and the way they treated us with the XP stage gateways feels bad.

I'd just like to remind those people (like me), who are slowly making their way from level 50 to 60 and are encountering the experience gates that keep them from the next level/mission, to utilize their duty officer assignments. There are several DOFF missions in the Delta Quadrant that reward upwards of 1,000 skill points and on a critical success, much more than that.

Should you be fortunate enough to have a skill point boost active as well, the experience you can get from letting your DOFF missions run overnight, will easily get you a substantial way through a level.

I personally don't mind having to do a few patrols, PvE queues or Kobali zone missions until the next bit of story content, but then I like taking STO at a slower place so that I don't run out of story content quickly. That said, the DOFFing (that I'd long since set aside), has really helped me through the XP grind.

Agreed Dex! Nothing is going to change. The pace is still going to Draaaag. They are increasing reward points but at the same time increasing the amount of SP you need to get to the next level. All the did was move the level wall and increase the rewards. Business as usual.

Digging this thread up, since it was released friday!

Did you get it?
What do you think thus far?

SOOOOOO much better than DA2, its moved back to how DA origins was like. im still pretty much at the start of it.
Bit upset about the lack of merchants .. I guess the game wants you to craft as much as you can to get good weapons and armor

Listening to the soundtrack now, won't be playing the game though. LOVe it!

Is it just me then that is confused by that thread. They are making huge changes to skill points and progression.... However. If it takes 3 missions to level before it will take 3 after. So isn't that just saying you are doing nothing....

That's like saying 100x6 =600 and then changing the numbers to 500+50=600

Either way it's making no difference so why change.... Have I missed the point somewhere?

Guest Passes for World of Warcraft and Starcraft 2: Wings of Liberty

WoW does have a free trial for their game which anyone can get at any time. The Guest Passes are no different to in comparison.

But again this is as far as I am aware. Starcraft 2: Wings of Liberty has a 14 hour in game time before you will need to purchase the full version and with current sales at the moment on Blizzard website.

Starcraft 2: Heart of the Swarm
This is the link to the Starcraft 2: Heart of the Swarm, now at the moment, the price for this is down by half at the moment and with the up coming expansion of Starcraft 2: Legacy of the Void being made and becoming very popular as we speak, now would be a good time to get into the story of what happened before that so you can see what happened.

World of Warcraft
And with WoW's prices at 75% off at the moment, you are getting a very good deal with the subscription for the first month. And at this price you are essentially from my understanding you are getting most of the recent expansions except the newly released expansion, (Warlords of Daenor) the base installation will give you, Burning Crusade, Wrath of the Lich King, Cataclysm and Mist of Pandaria.

And with what i heard regarding the newst expansion, the new content is wicked and something that was needed/essential for World of Warcraft.

I'm confused, isn't WoW already free-to-play up to level 20? That's how I've played, and I never needed a guest pass. Or is this just get all the little extras that come with a membership?

Guest Passes for World of Warcraft and Starcraft 2: Wings of Liberty

November 26 2014
Hey Everyone,

Some of you know me and some of you don't. But that doesn't matter, cause i have a very special gift to everyone.

I have some guest passes for 4 people. 2 guest passes for World of Warcraft and 2 guest passes for Starcraft 2: Wings of Liberty.

Those that pick the WoW passes can play free until they reach level 20 on their toon.

The restrictions are that you won't get full access to WoW's game features unless you decide to pay for the game and a subscription fee per month.

Those that pick the SC2:WoL will be able to play a selection of Starcraft 2 missions, challenges and multi-player maps for free, again certain game features are restricted, in order to remove it you will need to upgrade to the full version of the game.

Guest Passes Key will be sent to people who express interest and are the first in line of my inbox to receive them. I will update this forum once all passes are gone or if there are any left. I will notify those who missed out on this, as soon as possible. I will include instructions on how you can claim the free trial to those that are first in. All I ask is that you pick one pass only, you can't have both passes of the same game or one of each.

Please be mindful and respectful. If there is any issues with the pass key, please notify me, I only realized after cleaning up a while ago that I was in possession of these passes and I got them around the time of when Heart of the Swarm came out.

As far as I can see from Google searching and browsing the Blizzard forums about these, I can't locate any information, stipulating if there is an expiration date of when they have to be used by.

If by the end of the year, no one has claimed interest in these passes, I will dispose them.

Anyway, I hope I haven't taken too much of everyone's time with reading this very long winded post. You all have a wonderful week and I hope to see some of you in-game on Star Trek Online.
