Oh, i'm all over this (once i get out of being broke  )

I played Wing Commander II and III growing up, always an amazing experience. To see Chris Roberts expanding his vision into this game is magnificent.

Thanks for sharing!!

I wish I could mate but I really believe in this project, Chris Roberts made lots of the important games to me growing up, i.e. Wing Commander, Privateer and Freelancer.

He is the man to bring space faring games back to the limelight this is not just a space sim, it is a UNIVERSE SIM...

Looks gorgeous, but how will it actually play?

It does!

I play a little Arena Commander every day (AC at the moment consists of PvP and PvE dogfighting, a free flight mode in space and a racing module which is epic fun).

It uses correct Newtonian physics (you can black out from G force if you pull a super tight turn with your boost).

How it looks in the trailer is how it looks on my screen when I play mates!

*deep sigh* Look Axis, i know you mean well, but i really dont have the money for this right now. So do me a favor, pretend it sucks, and do some bitter complaining. kthnxbye. :P

Hi mates, thought this might be a fun thread to resurrect, I really enjoyed having a look into everyone's cool gayming spaces.

I've got a new computer (good bye iMac) since my last post which I built about 4 months ago.

I've also pimped my space out a little with a wicked plasma ball and some sick laser show action to accompany my 6 foot lava lamp pole.

Looking good. I have to clean my office and then I will upload new photos as mine has changed a little bit as well. Good thing I am off next week LOL

Mates, we are largely here because we enjoy sci-fi to one degree or another... let me share with you something I backed as a kickstarter project and is enjoying great success. They just put out build 1.0 of their Arena Commander module and then this updated trailer.

Have a watch mates and imagine...

NOW OPEN - OFFICE OF THE SHIPWRIGHT

December 23 2014

The Combat Operations and Tactical Readiness Department is proud to announce the opening of the Fleet's Office of the Shipwright. Through this we will assist fleet members start, improve and polish their space ship builds to optimal performance in both PvE and PvP.

To facilitate this process we will use the STO ACADEMY SKILL PLANNER and we have created THIS FORM. please complete both so we can get a better idea of what you are interested in. Once you have filled tout the form please make a post here so I am aware of it because for some reason Google does not give me notifications.

We are happy to provide this service free of charge to all Stonewall Members. Once we receive your request it will be forwarded to one of our capable shipwrights and they will design a ship using STO Academy that is optimized for you. Notes on the build will be provided and if further explanation or clarification is required we will be happy to speak with you one on one on TeamSpeak or in game chat. Our goal is to return a build with in 4-5 days but depending on volume it may be sooner or later.

Please remember The Tactical Readiness Department's policy is to maximize a captains innate ability with the ship that is best suited for them. If your Captain/Ship Combination is not optimized we will still complete your request and suggest a different ship that would be optimized for you.

If you have any questions or feedback please contact me on the fleet site (Here) or by in game mail (@WhiteOnmyoji).
