I would love playing it if any stores around me sold it. My ability to buy stuff is limited and it seems to be pricey.

I would have thought at least someone would ask what the game was.... it seems really really under-played... it's not bad, especially if you can come up with additional rules to tweak the gameplay so you don't have a "borg bomb" or something else unbeatable.

Build Challenge

Put a little thought into this and ended up coming up with maybe two possible ways this could ever work. Thats a slim maybe. The ship would have to be almost a complete support ship tanking hits or healing best it could.

Two weapons strike me as being the only options. Elachi, or Photonic Polaron. Comes down to luck or crits I guess with those. The most dmg that could be pumped into it would be on the polaron side using the Jem set, and crit bonus tac cons.

My mind wouldn't leave me alone on this.

White Winter Whirl Opening Ceremony

January 04 2015
Parker:
Greetings and Welcome to our annual White Winter Whirl Event. We've got a lot of fun in store for you over the coming weekend so we'd like to take the opportunity to say a few words to mark the occasion.

Jacien:
Qa'pla friends, members of Stonewall Fleet and House Nagh'reD! Half the world is in repose and we mark the closing of Winter with a celebration of what makes us such a great community.

Parker:
What's that, Jacien?

Jacien:
I'm not sure it can be rendered down into one word. This community is so many things to so many different people. For some it's a cool and groovy place to play the games they love with like-minded people.

Parker:
And for some it's a source of strength, support, a refuge from the harsh realities of the real world or even the mainstream gaming world.

Jacien:
Right you are, Parker. Before I inadvertently stumbled upon this fledgling community over 5 years ago I thought I was the only gay trekkie in existence, lol. I'd never met another one but then I never even thought to look.

Parker:
That's a great story, Jacien. Stonewall's been a second home for me too and many other's as well and I'm proud to be a member of such a great leadership team and I am so proud of our FC's for donating their personal time to help out with the events this weekend.

Parker:
When our founder, Nick started Stonewall Fleet in July of 2008, Cryptic was censoring a lot of LGBT threads on their offical forums.

Jacien:
He wanted to create a safe place for LGBTQA players to talk about the game, a Fleet with a broad appeal and a community that provided an enhanced experience to as many aspects of gameplay that they could support.

Parker:
It started off slow, with only about 30 members for closed beta and 150 members by open beta. After that it slowly but surely grew to become the largest LGBTQA Fleet in all of Star Trek Online.

Jacien:
In the spirit of the holidays, we come together in friendship, solidarity and mutual respect to celebrate not only our commonalities but our differences as well.

Parker:
We know we're a pretty diverse bunch, and those differences can sometimes cause disagreements, misunderstandings and maybe a few hard feelings. The fact that our gaming community has not only endured, but flourished for over 6 years into something even it's founders could scarcely hope to dream.

Jacien:
Kindness, respect and compassion have always been things our community has never been in short supply of and for that I too, am proud of them. The namesake of our Fleet is a testament to joining together to stand against adversity, eschewing petty feuds, disagreements and egos to come together for a common, noble purpose.

Parker:
Please join us all in this celebration of our differences, commonalities and all that lies between and let us have a fabulous, happy Winter Whirl this weekend! We hope you'll enjoy what we have in store for you, from challenging trivia and joyful antics in Q's Winter Wonderland-

Jacien:
To mighty battles that will test your mettle as warriors of the Empire, soldiers of the Republic and officer's of the Federation!

Parker:
I hereby declare the White Winter Whirl Event begun!

Be Careful WHICH White Doffs You´re Donating To Fleet Projects!

January 02 2015
Weird, that. Although I picked up Doimma as soon as I went L15 Beams, so those are probably the one common R&D doff I haven't picked up yet.

I believe you - it's just extra-odd considering the price crash in beam upgrades. I mean, CCA is the one queue (aside from maybe Infected) that's returned to farm status.

I'd been thinking of trying this ever since it was on kickstarter. I went with Elite Dangerous recently, which is similar, because it was an actual release. The ship packages are rather daunting, and I sure as hell am not paying $10k for something that can't drive in the real world.

Heya, Halish! I'll see if I can find you in game sometime. My commander's name is Oberon Stark. I haven't been playing much over the past week because I've been moving to a new house. I've been using an older saitek joystick with a throttle built in, and I think you definitely have to have some sort of joystick. That's how the older games were, too. I've got a joystick and throttle coming today, the Saitek X52 (not pro), and it looks like it'll be good for Elite. I'll let you know how that one works out.

Not the whites - I've been selling all my excess commons off.

And because they're readily available, supply far outpaces demand - hence the low, low prices.

I would have thought this true myself, but that's not the case. The ones with R&D school: beam weapons (yes, the white ones) go for 5-10 million ec, depending on the day. On the fed side, they have the names Doptid and Ririna Tenski. I toss the engineering, shield, and science ones because they aren't worth anything, but the ones that can craft weapons (beams, cannons, ground, projectiles) are worth selling if you aren't intending to hold on to them. But make sure to check for their name, don't sell them as if they were a generic white doff.

Now the purples on the other hand, you wouldn't be able to donate anyways.

On the plus side, at least these Doffs are very readily available.

Well, some of them sell for millions of EC on exchange, so while available, they may not come cheaply.

TIER 6 SHIPS

January 01 2015
the full Delta Pack is $150 ($119 if you get it on Steam for the next 2 days) but it comes with 5 Fed Ships 2 KDF and 2 Rom Ships, upgrade tokens, Very Rare Boffs and Doffs and Ship Upgrade Tokens. So it's all worth it. All the ships are T-6 Ships and grant ship traits at Tier 5 Mastery. So it all worth it if you consider the T-6 Ships costs $30 each ($30 X 9 Ships is already $270). But if you want just the Phantom it's $30 bucks on the Zen Store

Be Careful WHICH White Doffs You´re Donating To Fleet Projects!

December 31 2014
Hi there!

Before you´re going to donate white doffs to fleet projects: check them by clicking onto their INFO button. I´ve almost accidentally donated this white doff:

As you can see it´s a security officer, but surprisingly he has a specialization for r&d engineering.

Usually security officers don´t have this r&d school thingy - "I´m a guard, not an engineer!":

Greetings, A.M. :)
