SUPER EASY SCREENSHOT POSTING INSTRUCTIONS
Both our Dilithium Rush and Dilithium Tycoon events (see event details above), will require the posting of in-game screenshots to this thread. Previously this has been a hassle, but worry not! We've worked out an easy and painless method of linking your screenshots for this weekend, to make your participation in these events a breeze!
STEP ONE
Take a screenshot of your in-game window by pushing the 'Print Screen' button while in STO.

Alt-tab out of the game and to this browser window. Click on the clipboard icon below to navigate to the Snaggy website
STEP THREE
Paste your image into the browser window by pressing 'control' and 'v' keys

From Friday, February 6th to Sunday, February 8th, the Fleet Resources Department and the PvE Department will be hosting a series of fleet events, to coincide with the bonus dilithium rewards weekend in Star Trek Online.
In the spirit of the bonus dilithium weekend, we here in the Resources and PvE Departments feel that this weekend should be ALL about lining your Captain's pockets with dilithium, Zen and energy credit prizes, in a toast to the quadrant's greediest Ferengi and traders! To that end, we'll be hosting a number of dilithium and resources related events over the weekend, and encourage you all to come out for the fun!

OOoh OOoh pick me pick me. Now that I have 1 character at level 60 I need some help with the new PvE content from the undine to latest. I think I have only done a few undine runs and was too noob to catch on and now I don't know any of them up to the latest content. Any help your department can provide would be most welcome!
With my crazy busy work schedule since the cyber attack against my company in November I think I am finally able to nail down some time to devote to the game. Mostly weekends are free now but I hope soon to be back in game during the week as well.

Code of Conduct Revamp; Feedback requested
I'll be honest, the code of conduct has served us well for along time. I will agree it's time for an update. I also like the WIP as a supplement or the a preamble. I would also add as long as you have the Stonewall banner over your head you need to act with dignity and respect not just to fellow Stonewallers but to all players

I consider myself still kind of new, so I thought I'd chime in on this with a newbie perspective.
I like the simplification, but perhaps it's a little over simplified. Seeing only the WIP version would make me go to an admiral/cap'n and ask what the *real rules* are ("So, what'll get me banned?"). However, I'm a little more outgoing than some others might be and have no problem going up to fleet leadership.
I think the WIP is a good preface or summary (or TL;DR version), but there should be the option to keep reading for specifics.
Actually, the older one doesn't really have cut-and-dried rules.) I think it would be nice if you had what's there and a little list like (..4. don't !$/%# swear! 5. keep it friendly for a 12-year old (ie we're here to game; no one wants to hear about your unspeakable extracurriculars.) Obviously not phrased as jokingly, but a appendix of don'ts might be a nice add-in. Maybe the admin can get together and hash out that list.
I would also want to tweak the formatting and make it not italicized. Keep the indent, but its not like the whole thing is too long to read otherwise.
Excellent points. Did the admins meet before this post went out? I know Halish was approved to work it but what's the aim, more loose and casual or more defined yet casual rules?
From what I've read, you've written a description of behavioral rules/guidelines. I did not see a statement regarding the consequences of not following the rules/guidelines (maybe there was a 2nd page, I've been reading this through my phone).
I like the agreement statement for Admirals and Fleet Captains -what are the consequences for them if they do not follow the rules/guidelines?.
You can make your rules/guidelines applicable to everyone by switching from the word "member" to "person" or providing a application clause at the start of your Code of Conduct "The following guidelines and rules apply to all persons within the stonewall gaming network".

on the whole, yes, it is.
however, I am currently dating a guy that is of mixed ancestry, and looks exotic, but is definitely not a white guy, meanwhile, you see what I am in my avatar pic here, so, it's not always a thing, I think it has to do more with the racicm and sexism we encourage in schools still, kids group together by race and sex in school, then they start ridiculing those "not of their cloth" and we get bullying.
Prejudice and misconceptions we sadly carry with us into adulthood. I'm of mixed ancestry myself, my father being black/Samoan and my mother being ginger german. I can 'pass', and that has given me great insight as to how white people, or even other people of color think when they believe to be among themselves.
Though I have to say here in Germany the social scene is more integrated. When I used to go out on the weekends, you literally saw a smorgesbord of peoples all dancing , drinking, and enjoying the hedonism of it all. Usually there are specific party events where you know what you're getting as it's being advertised beforehand. But they aren't exclusive. I've had some of my best memories at lesbian events, and haven't at all encountered this 'I hate gay men' phenomenon. Though I have witnessed more than enough gay misogyny/ignorance towards lesbians.
