One of the great honors and privileges of being an Admiral of Stonewall Fleet is to share in the positive experience it affords others and to our community.

A founding principal of Stonewall Fleet is to seek out new forms of diversity, to spread the Federation ideals of unity and acceptance, and boldly go where no person has gone before. As a long time Star Trek fan myself, I am reminded of that very simple ideal every time I watch the introduction to an episode of Classic Star Trek or The Next Generation. Yet for so simple a statement, it carries such significant weight; not only to our past and the present, but also to our collective future.

In any fleet or membership based group, there must come a vision - one which is guided by the decisions of senior leaders to help influence the actions of others toward a common goal. They are tasked with the welfare of the membership, including delegating such authority to those who embrace and best represent the principles of the group as a whole.

By the powers vested in me by the Admiralty of Stonewall Fleet, I would like to announce the following promotions to Fleet Captain effective immediately:

Steve, Having taken a short break from Stonewalls leadership is still remembered by many in the fleet for his kind, friendly and generous nature, as well as his vast knowledge of the game.
It will be an honor to work along side him, and go into battle together!

As a Fleet Captain, @DeepSky579 will be responsible for general Fleet Captain duties such as assisting members in game, hosting events, fleet invites, and general forum/chat moderation just to name a few. Fleet Captains are a more senior member of the fleet due to their expanded abilities and knowledge of the game. They participate and assist with the day to day operations of this vast community we all appreciate and care about.

If you are in game and need assistance, feel free to reach out to any of the Fleet Captains, or to any Admiral that may be online at that time.

Please join me in congratulating and welcoming @DeepSky579 to his new role as Fleet Captain!

Soo I am totally loving the new Armada system and I am absolutely IN LOVE with the new research station (starts moving her stuff in). I've also noticed a new surge in members. If we keep this up we'll need an armada for our armada. :laugh:

A bit late but my BF and I are finally booked. Arriving early on Wednesday 8/5 and leaving the following Monday afternoon. Can't wait to see everyone and meet others for the first time, less that 3 weeks to go! :woohoo:

UPDATE 10/3/16: MOBO died earlier this year (2016) so now I am running a GIGABYTE GA-H97-D3H. Also, updated (not upgraded cause the jury is still out on this one) to Windows 10 from the free update offered. 

PC seems to run a bit slower. I think it needs to be re-tuned for performance settings, but overall it still handles all applications well. I did expect to encounter slightly longer load times with the new mobo, but I noticed some drop in performance while gaming too.

Lastly, without the sound dampening that the ASUS mobo had this pc runs a bit louder now, but still well within tolerable levels.

After watching the first episode of the new season, I strongly believe the only good Votan is a dead Votan. Kill them all.

I would loved to have came along to this, but likely will be away all weekend :(

Our fleet Admiral has noted your fleet wanting to join in the Armada, and it has been added to the list of fleets that have contacted us.
Once in game, and we have the chance to set things up and research the new fleet systems, we will be in contact with you.
