I may have borked my machine. Although I loved the better response times from programs, having my external hard drive and choice of firewalls won out on the priority list. I attempted to rollback to the previous version last night. It went through the motions of rolling back...

After about 20 reboots and "Restoring your previous version..." I fear that I'm S.O.L. I went so far as to unplug it for about 5 minutes and try again. It seems to be in an endless loop that I can't change. I've even researched trying to find any kind of solutions.

So the bad news is that I'll most likely be out of the game for a while. The good news that I have justification on spending money for a new rig.

So looking forwards to this!! , for us UK folks it starts 31st August on the new channel AMC Global, which is exclusive to BT ( boooo) ....but no fear that's what the internet is for!!! :evil: :evil:

I'm Pretty interested to know what your Comfort ship is..

Through the years I've been playing, I've always switched ships.. hopeing to find a ship that I feel confident in, that has everything I need, that I feel powerful in, That looks good.
I had ALWAYS wanted to fly the Galaxy.. but despite various build, and various toons, I couldn't get her to work with my playstyle (i miss being a Sci)

I noticed that some players, stick to a certain ship, and i never knew how they could, without getting bored flying the same one each mission.

But recently, I think ive found her.. the ship of my dreams!! that I don't mind flying into PVEs...

When upgraded to T5U, added an extra sci slot.. shes got just enough SCI and TAC slots for my comfort.
Can turn into a nasty Tac on command,
Can turn back to a Sci leech when wanted.
Im sure a lot of you may think shes ugly, I did at first.. but her sleek lines and curves, and the white hull is amazing.. compared to the brick shaped ships that are coming out lately.

So I was just wondering if you have your favorite "Go To" ship that you always fall back on.. what do you like about it? etc..
And what would be the ship of your dreams, If you could get her to work right?

Ohh cool tip, thanks... it just kept switching to my Virtual line 1, instead of my main sound device.. it did it whenever it wanted.. despite me disabling it.
I use a HDMI monitor and that output went missing a few times, I had to plug it in and out again in order for it to be detected.

As my other previous post stated, i couldnt put it to sleep without it not starting properly when switched back on... the fan sometimes made a crazy sound, like a loud clicking, i thought it was going to explode.

couldnt update my headphone/mic drivers.

lots going on :( I really liked it.. but ill give it some time.

Tried that too, also ran it as administrator, both made no difference.

That's weird, did you try playing it in compatibility mode? Although you shouldn't need to...
