{Spoilers Alert!!} Fear The Walking Dead

September 01 2015
I always always try to find the good. So much negative news and bad crap is thrown at us daily. I try to find the good stories and videos of animals doing cute ass shit. :-) I'd probably be the idiot killed saving a bunch of people. I am always the one getting told that it's "none of my business" and "don't get involved". I just can't see myself not trying to help someone. There are times when I may be misguided. I'd rather be a helpful idiot than just an idiot. :-) And I need to stop babbling and go to bed. :D

Her just closing the door really bugged me, how the hell is a civilization going to survive something like that if no one is willing to get involved.

I think as a whole The Walking Dead franchise has a negative view of humanity as a whole.

I know! She can kill the principal to save a student but not save her neighbor who she went and warned earlier? And what about the little girl? I don't I'll be too sad if and/or when the mother dies.

Stonewall Times...Autumn 2015 issue

September 01 2015
I am so proud of this. Words fail me to describe how emotional I am seeing it finally all come together and look fantastic. It took months to come together. I hope you all enjoy reading it as much as I enjoyed creating it. Manu has become a very good friend to me, not because of this interview, our friendship goes long before the interview.

I am proud to have him as a friend.

Enjoy the read guys, and thank you for taking the time to read.

Have heard back from Renegades actor / makeup consultant and co writer Ryan T. Husk .... His words ..... Amazing job.

Ok Manu has made me cry. He has said "A really well done interview, a very beautiful interview". He has posted it on Facebook and Twitter.

Future of the Stonewall Gaming Network

September 01 2015
I have been thinking about the future of Stonewall Gaming Network for some time now and I’d like to discuss it with all of you. I’ll be blunt -- in a lot of ways, our foray into a multi-guild network hasn’t worked out well. Knights of Stonewall (KOS) isn’t active, and while Stonewall Vanguard (SWVG) is active in Guild Wars 2, the players aren’t involved in our overall community. If we’re to launch a new guild, sooner or later, we would need to prepare and be ready. As well, we need to have a path in mind for the future of our community.

It’d be easy to blame Star Wars: The Old Republic for the lack of activity in KOS or say that our player base in SWVG is just different, but I feel both of those are just scapegoats. I’d like to reexamine how we decide to start new guilds, get them running and maintain them over the long term. Also, I’m interested to get some input on how we, as a multi-guild network, should function. As well, I’ll clear up some misconceptions about how things currently run.

Right now, our entire community is largely focused on Star Trek Online. For players coming here for other games, it’s very difficult for them to get involved into a community that’s based on an IP or lore that they know little to nothing about. Despite my best efforts to move the community in a less Star Trek centric way, there’s been little success. It’s been like plugging a dam with my finger. If we’re going to continue with the multi-guild network, I need a dedicated group that’s willing to help out, regardless of the game or guild, to move the entire community in right direction. Some of the work needed isn’t fun or glamorous, but it needs to be done.

For those interested in this topic, I’d like to invite you to join me on TeamSpeak this weekend. I’m looking to chat with those of you who are willing to speak up and share your thoughts, so please skip this if you just plan to listen Please think about what I’ve brought up in this message so far and bring your own honest thoughts and even some questions. I would love to hear from those of you with opinions, perspectives and ideas on how to solve the problems of running this community. If you have any additional questions or concerns, feel free to reply here, but let’s save the discussion for the meeting.

Absolutely incredible issue. I'll be sharing it on social media tomorrow, and reaching out to my contacts at CBS to see if we can get it cross promoted on ST.com because of the interview. It's incredible to see how far the Times has come :) Keep up the great work!

Your first video game

My first was this big red blob that I had to issue commands too in school. I don't remember much more about it, as I wasn't more than 5...

The first proper game I played was treasure Island Dizzy. On the Spectrum. I loved that game so much...

The console not so much. I had to buy magazines with code in them. and then spend a whole weekend typing.....

Those early games were HARD!

In 1984, my family bought an Atari 2600 for $300. (Four years later, they went for $40.) It came with a very blocky version of Pac-Man.

I wish that damn kid would take a shower or at least wash his hair and get out of those dead old guys clothes. I did not like how the mother just closed the door and ignored the screams of her neighbor. After just having bashed the head of her boss and friend hours earlier to save Tobias. I think also that it is hard to explain something that you don't truly understand yet yourself. I am liking the pacing though.

Not to mention I get that the government doesn't want everything to fall apart as they desperately search for a cure, but I mean honestly if you would just tell people that YES there IS a new virus and so we need people to not riot and destroy the very infrastructure we need to protect you all perhaps they wouldn't be trying to suppress rioters and the undead at the same time.

Yeah, it's a bit of a Catch-22. They're not telling people about the virus to prevent a panic, but that helps cause a panic, so people panic.
