Re: 3 monitor setup

It seems you could with STO. Minimize your STO game so that you can still see it but not at full window. Then drag the edges into a long rectangle and boom, it extends out the peripheral vision

Re: 3 monitor setup

The page says that it suppose over 425 games, but I can't find what games those are. I'd wait to find out what games it works with before shelling out the dough.

I've seen stuff like this before and it does look pretty awesome. I'd love to play STO like that.

This seems a bit of a Gimick to me. I would wait to see what games and other media are being released that support a 3 screen system before you buy. I'm guessing not many as the image rendering and data space needed will be prohibitive and unnecessary for most game designers if not a lot of people will be using it.

You don't want to end up like those you bought an HD-DVD player only to find that everyone else went with Blue-ray, lol.

3 monitor setup

July 08 2010
Hey, I was at a store recently and there was a 3 monitor setup for gaming. one straight on in the middle and two angled on the sides. The racing game they were showing looked awesome, and the extra peripheral vision seemed really useful.

Does anyone have any experience with this?

There is an nvidia site that talks about it. but sales and reality are two very different things.

I don't want to spring for the bucks if it sucks or doesn't work on most games, etc. Your thoughts and experiences appreciated.

I'm so happy that this ruling has been made and that our immigration policy is a little less evil now. I've heard of too many cases where gay men and women are sent back to their country of origin with a death sentance over their head simply because they want to be themselves. For some people, hiding their sexuality is like trying to hide an elephant under an umbrella, and even if they could, why should they have to for the rest of their lives?

I feel a little prouder to be British today and I hope that everyone who just wants to be themselves, anywhere in the world, can do so one day soon.

Introduction to Javartians

July 07 2010
Another race I've created, the Javartians are to be introduced in this thread. I'll write more backstory for the race later, but basically, they are a humanoid plant species, kinda like the Delvians on farscape. Here are a couple template files for anybody that wants to create one.

Sure thing. For the race, I was thinking the base color shoudl stay green, and the spot pattern shoudl be the same, but can be any color, and to use the same ridges and all that as the template. Want male or female template? Or both? PM me your email, so I can email you the template.

PS, I've got another race or two I'll be writting up posts about.

Wow, that's really cool! I love how you adapted that Underspace concept. Both of my toons are Aliens, so I really like it when people make original races, and I like it even more when people think up cool backstories for those races.

I may definitely take you up on your offer. I'd like to have one of these as a BO!

I ended up fixing it just by removing the last line, since the end of a post doesn't really need a border in the Sig.
