Re: DC Universe Online

I've tried (suddenly remembers non-disclosure agreement) I mean my friend has tried the beta on both the PC and PS3, and he prefers the control scheme on the PC, although it's been clunkified to make it compatible with a PS3 controller. The one thing he hasn't found is a "run" key, so traveling across town means holding down at least one button/key to move forward.

The game is somewhat engaging (he says), and the locations are very nicely done. But he wants to give it a rest so he can go back to the old familiar STO universe for a while.

He is still enjoying ogling all the buff guys in tights. :silly:

Sad news although I knew it was coming. The story didn't really know where it was going.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!

It was finally starting to get good, I mean really good!

This is first major sci-fi series to include a major character that's openly gay. They should be awarded for that alone.

This makes me so sad. What's even worse, is we'll never know how the story was really suppose to go.

One of the author's should write a book.

Wow, totally sad news guys, but seriously not the sort of comments I'd expect from the Stonewall family. We're better than that. x

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

DEATH TO WHOMEVER MADE THIS DECISION!!!!!

HORRIBLE HORRIBLE DEATH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This was quickly becoming my favourite science fiction series. They finally got on to the bridge and started to explain the whole purpose of the Destiny's mission... AND NOW THEY CANCEL IT????

God damnit.

Many of the show’s cast didn’t learn about the fate of the show until their fans told them on Twitter.

“Apparently, nobody decided to tell us ahead of time. My rep heard it online. Seems they canceled SGU.”

Well MMORPG had a beta key giveaway but I couldn't remember my login. By the time I got it, they were gone.
I did snag a PS3 one by mistake. Not sure if it is transferable though.

Sad news that #SGU is cancelled, but DON'T FORGET: the last 10 eps air on Syfy this spring! So we'll keep on keepin' on until the very last!

Nothing listed yet on syfy.com (other than the mention of the above tweet).
Brian Jacobs (ugh) commented about it in his twitter feed just that he got the "very sad news"
