His mother was a shipping magnate, and his father was a subchair of the Ferengi Trade Commission, so he kind of grew up in the lap of luxury (if there's a way to conceive of such a thing in the Star Trek universe). They both were killed in a Nausicaan raid, and he immediately applied to Starfleet. He's kind of brash and arrogant, but also strong and stubborn and charismatic.

What's his back story? And are his lobes, like, really sensitive? ;)

Re: Bump this post!!

According to Joe Tex, "I ain't gonna bump no more with no big fat woman." Since this is not a big fat woman, I shall bump it. Plus this thread needs to make up for its lack of bumping over the past few months.

Bump.

There, I did it.

I like the TMP uniforms more than I thought I would. They look better in-game than they did on the big screen.

Were they the last of the announced uni's?

There are also the upcoming STO renditions of the ugly ugly alternate (bad) future uniforms (the ones used in "All Good Things" and the Voyager episodes where there was a sort of "Bad End" future. (The one where Voyager was trapped under the ice after crashing and the last episode)

Very nice, I'm gonna put my Betazoid Counselor in the Tpol costume on my Tac Alt.

Hmm, hadn't thought of having a counselor until now. I think I'll have a Klingon counselor. None of this huggy-feely counseling. "WHAT'S wrong with you??? You're weak. Perhaps you'd like your gagh cooked. Man up!" I think he'd look good in the Tpol costume, too.

I just got a really warm fuzzy because of that. I love people who do nice things.

But I didn't do anything like that this Christmas. Maybe I'm not a good person.

Wow, I must be a bad person. The world is no better off than it was two and a half seconds ago because I haven't fulfilled roving masses of child wishes.

I suck. Now I'm angry. No Santa letters for me.

Stupid postal service.

(This stream of consciousness has been brought to you by the letters U, P, and S and the number 547, which is how many people will be in line front of you if you had to pick up a package this holiday season.)

But back to the topic, I really love The Motion Picture Costumes. They were a great addition. I also kind of swooned over the Gorn. I think I have a thing for men who don't moisturize.

In my personal opinion, the best Star Trek game of all time is...

*drum roll*

wait for it...

*drummer starts to tire*

wait for it...

"GET ON WITH IT!"

STTNG: A Final Unity

This DOS-based game was phenomenal. It had a great storyline, the graphics for the time were amazing (heck, they still look kind of nice), and it was challenging enough without being impossible. Like our friend LeVar Burton said so many times on Reading Rainbow, "you don't have to take my word for it." I'll let you read up on it yourself. Memory Alpha did a better job than I could ever do.
