Revisiting this post.. Ok.. I have to admit have the original Diana back in the show has been nice.. She is one sneaky lil lady.. and her play of mom v daughter v granddaughter is just so delicious... And yes it is a guilty pleasure.. Still campy as hell.. and still bad acting and bad plots but, it is getting better and better.. Let us hope it rises to the occasion before it is pulled like all the series that do not pull in quick bucks..

i don't love Lady Gaga like I love Madonna (but then I am a child of the 80's), but this video is both trippy and catchy at the same time. I approve! lol

The Video is different, but hey, if Madonna can get away with the video for 'Like a prayer' then Lady Gaga can get away with this! I like her, not because of her music, but because she is not scared :evil: of doin something out of this world!

And in the video if you notice the part where she is just about to start doin her dance part in the video she looks like Cher!! Just a bit!

I'm not entirely sure what the hell I just saw in that video, but I know that I thought it was fucking AWESOME! I really hope this means the videos from the album will be in this vein of b-budget 80's sci-fi whackiness.

Also, I can't figure out if this video is NSFW. On the one hand, she's giving birth in the video, but on the other hand it's so fucking abstract that it's not really obvious.

I have to say that I'm a big fan of the new series. I vaguely remember bits from the original series because my mum used to watch it, but at the time I think it scared me!

So far I've enjoyed the episodes that many people seemed to think were less good. For example, I thought 'Laid Bare' was very good. I loved how cruel the humans were to Malik, and how they became just as nasty as the V's for a brief period. I liked Malik's final scene.

I enjoy how much of it is subtle, although there is a limit to my patience in waiting for exciting things to happen. I guess storylines become limited once aliens invade though. Battlestar really went wild though, so they could actually do the full-on invasion and it might even work!

I hope they don't cancel this. I'm starting to get bored of picking up a new series because they've cancelled something because it wasn't making the company a quick buck.

Nvidia cards have there issues to micro stutering on the 400 / 500 series all top end cards can be affected so it matters not which way you go

Yeah, it'll probably look great. How much better would be a bit subjective. I've seen screenshots that you've taken and the quality looks above average already. You'll probably get it a bit better than that.

I have never crashed or anything. Obviously, dynamic lighting is off but, help me answer this?

The game still looks amazing and the increased computer specs will help it even more + possibly be able to turn on DL with only 3 max lights - overall, it should look better than it looks now, right?

If they figure it out sure, they can fix it, but they've been working on this bug since beta with the help of ATI developers and still nothing.

What about buying the computer with integrated graphics or the cheapest version that upgrading to a Nvidia graphics card later?

I am reading the thread though and it does say this is really just on the ground, and only in some places.

Is this something that can, not will, but can be something that they can fix at some point if they figure out the problem?

When I first started playing, I cranked everything up to maximum. Ground firefights were definitely causing an issue on my ATI card. If you turn Dynamic Lighting OFF, and set your lighting to a maximum of three you won't have any issues. I play with everything on high, with the exception of the lighting and the game runs smooth. :)

There's one by Computer Ed. There's a lot more threads on there. For as far as I've heard, it's not been fixed it yet and Cryptic is still working with ATI/AMD to hunt down and fix the problem.

I bought my laptop specifically for STO, and I use an AMD graphics card with no problems. I know there is a problem with some AMD/ATI though, but I believe the newer version have no problem. I can't turn my graphics up full without slight issues, but since yours is much better I expect it will be possible for you.

I do know that the quad core is not an advantage for STO as it's designed for dual core, but it's not a drawback either, you just don't use the others for the game. I assume it would be good for running other programs alongside the game.
