Because the last thing we need to do is piss of any other Muslims by not following their beliefs, even if its for an extremists.

Bin Ladens's death is a serious blow to al Qaeda. Bin Laden was the figure head and planner of the organization, without him, they'll loose direction and purpose. Sure, there will be some that rise up to take his place, but noone like Bin Laden. When people join al Qaeda, they swear an oath, not the the organization, but to Bin Laden, himself. This is, if nothing, a serious blow to their morale and a clear message to each and every one of them; if you fuck with us, we will get you, no matter who you are.
