Agreed... I'm playing for the continuation of the KOTOR universe and to be a minigun-toting Medic. Seems a little odd to me to have character romance arcs in an MMO where encouraging community interaction is kind of the point.

But to each their own I guess.

I'm just picturing a bunch of same-class characters chatting about their love interest around a campfire, each one of them names the same Companion... that slut! ;-)

Just saw last week's episode and I was all "YES! BOUT DAMN TIME" when Jack started talking to Angelo about his friend The Doctor and his companions.

Still wish it was more like Dr. Martha Jones showing up (I mean really, she's an honest to goodness doctor and this is right up her alley), but at this point I'm ready to take any acknowledgement.

I agree with the slow pacing of the story arc, but I think the last few episodes have been getting increasingly better and better. It was amusing when Mike C. (MikeyNY) started asking me how Jack knew about the future (he didn't really know Jack's origin as far as we've seen in the Dr. Who series).

It's like being invited to a party as vegetarian and the only food you are offered is meat. Why should I go to such a party. For me it has reached a point of all or nothing. A point where I feel hurt and only an apology and explanation will do.

That's an odd analogy. For me it would be like being invited to a party and finding out that, because I'm Oriental, I couldn't make out with the refrigerator. I'm totally cool with that. Pre-programmed romances with NPCs bore me; however, some people like that kind of thing and I'm cool with that, too. (Although, deep down, I feel people should be directing their affections towards other humans, and not worrying whether or not the NPCs are into them.)

Stonewall Fleet will be starting a contest September 1. The contest will consist of 8 weeks of challenges and the final results will be turned in on December 1st. The contest will have 3 winners so that everyone will have a chance. Wither you would like to lose weight, increases your exercise, or loose a certain percent of weight.

To participate, you will submit your current weight as of September 1st and again for the next 8 weeks. There will also be weekly challenges to earn points. This data will be submitted through a Google form and compiled. At the end of the eight weeks, you will then be on your own for the next month with the final response due December 1st.

The weekly contests will involve such things as trying a new recipe, increasing your exercise, cutting back on something, or taking time for yourself. Some will have multiple points; some will have a set amount. Each week will be detailed on the post.

Weekly results will only show amount lost and points. No actual weights will be revealed unless it is by the participant.

Please head to loser.stonewallfleet.com to begin the contest. You will need to enter your information each week by Saturday at noon.
