Gracious, things have changed a lot in-game. Makes me think about whether I want to rejoin. I've got enough garbage in my life without paying for it, too.

Yep, salvage hehe. It isn't a whole lot you get back from it, but if you've crafted alot of items, you can maybe get enough materials back for 1 or 2 more items.Or just save them for later.

Sure, help people and at the same time teach them your religions values... from "don't use condoms, but create lots of little children you can't feed" to "if you act on your gay tendencies you will go to hell".

Fortunately over here companies don't mingle in religious/moral/political things. But because of historical reasons schools, hospitals, ... do. All the schools i went to where catholic schools, because the quality is a lot better than the state run schools (a matter of funding). They where good schools. But, looking back at it, if i had been educated in more open minded schools i would have realised earlier that i was gay and perhaps been able to come out of the closet in stead of having suicide thoughts. Not that in those schools any teacher ever said anything bad about gays, but it was a subject that was rarely mentioned.

I easily went from crafting level 20, to level 70 in a matter of 15 or so minutes just discovering and breaking down. This was if you have a good stack of materials (which come really quickly, so should be no problem early on), and breaking down your disciplines materials.

With breakdown i assume you mean salvage. I hadn't considered that. How much of the original basic materials do you get back?

I was always very wary of Chick-fil-A. Not just because their prices were ridiculous, but because I learned back when I worked in the mall that they all close on Sunday because of, y'know, God an stuff. They made a special deal with the mall management to do so because they would have been fined every sunday, otherwise.

I never minded the fact they were closed on Sunday. It was very obvious what their reasons were, even being from the same area of the country in which Chick-fil-A is based. But here it's not uncommon with all the blue laws. Even then, if religion was their reason for being closed on Sunday, I still didn't have a problem with it. It was part of their business model to be closed on Sunday even if for religious reasons. Heck, it worked in my book. They used religion as a promoting factor. I don't mind religious institutions (though I'm not religious myself). Most do a lot of good in their communities including charitable work. However, they must also realize that this is a business decision, too, and that to come out of the closet against gay marriage in a strongly worded way can and hopefully will hurt their bottom line.

And, of course, the goon squad is in The Secret World, now. Probably scheming on how to best harass and grief those who are on the "RP servers"

Bert & Ernie?

sesame street != muppet show

Sesame street is populated by Jim Henson's creations. That makes them muppets enough in my book. Plus Big Bird was in the Muppet Movie. Plus Kermit the Frog was on Sesame street as a roving reporter.

So, you are incorrect.

Sesame Street = Muppet show for little kids.

Yes, when you crafted the basic crafting material (bolt of, or ingot or bar, whatever) for tier 1, experience starts to cut out heavily around level 25 generally due to it becoming a "Trivial" thing. This is when you switch to making armor and "discovering" new things. repeating this process for each new "tier" which the next is at 50, then 75, and 100. until you reach 400 at the end of it all.

I easily went from crafting level 20, to level 70 in a matter of 15 or so minutes just discovering and breaking down. This was if you have a good stack of materials (which come really quickly, so should be no problem early on), and breaking down your disciplines materials.

Them adding the bank tabs available to stations like that is a nice thing. The thing about the materials that you craft is, you really aren't suppose to "keep" them on yourself or in the bank alot. Crafting, Breaking down, discovery, breakdown some more, sell on trade. Thats generally how they want you to keep things a little clean.

But yes, having the small bank, does force alot of different users to buy bank tabs, like crafters, horders, and so on.

A word of advice is the basic components, burn through those first, they'll get you those first 20 levels fairly quickly if you have enough.

I read somewhere that crafting basic components only give xp when you create them between level 1 and 25 (and level 100-125 for tier 2, ...). So during the beta i saved up my gathered materials for a while before starting to craft. When i reached level 12 i decided to give crafting a try. Together with the materials gathered from my two other toons (level 10 and level 5), i still did not have enough copper to get to level 25. The crafted armour was level 5. Apparently i'll have to start crafting at level 5. To avoid buying basic materials i'll either have to spend a lot more time gathering or level up 5 toons at the same time.

Crafting material stacks cap at 250. so, remember to keep your tools on you if you plan to do alot of crafting. It was also pretty decent experience as well.

It's a good thing you can access your bank tabs at every crafting station. You can even access non-crafting stuff. Unfortunately half crafted items aren't stored in the collections, but in your normal bank tab. I guess that forces crafters to buy extra bank tabs.

This. I think the worst slog in the game for me was the story arc that required you to spend time at Drozana station. It's just gross in there.

I usually cant stand being around Drozana for the headache inducing lights. I really wish they had some way of setting it so once you pass teh Devidian Arc the appearances stop there. You automatically phase to a version without Devidians. Think I went for a SubSpace Radio get together there. But otherwise much prefer DS9 etc.

And yeah. As said before. Best tactic against Goons is just avoid their game. They were mostly looking to hassle RolePlayers and Furries. But as they also love just hassling anyone they can in EVE I thought it wise to just pass the info along so any other big fleets like Stonewall could be forewarned.
