We use the same vent server as Stonewall Fleet and Knights of Stonewall. We're going to be changing the room layout soon to support Guild Wars 2 (at this moment the "private" (mission) rooms are named for STO and SW:TOR but we can still use them, they're just names).

Dwayna's Tavern is the GW2 "public" room and the "Stonewall Lounge" is a room for everybody, meant as a much more general none-game specific room. But don't feel like you can't go into the STO and SW:TOR public rooms if there's people in there you want to get to know.

The reason we keep using the same vent server, is the same reason we share the same social network and forums. It's so we don't have to lose friends because we're playing different games.

Without Eternal Grove the official GBLT server defaults to Crystal Desert, I have an email in my inbox (which has forced me to get out of my bed at 2am) from Rough Trade asking me to confirm that it's acceptable. I haven't replied yet.

I've quite enjoyed the discussions on GBLT servers and guilds and I still believe being with the other "gay" guilds is the best thing for us. We have to decide now and I'd love to hear some enthusiastic pro-Crystal Desert confirmations so I can reply to Rafael confident that I'm doing what's best for you guys.

However if you feel differently then voice it now (it doesn't have to be a long post, we've discussed the pros and cons so let's just keep it simple) and if it seems we still have a lot of us against rolling on a "high" server then I'll reply letting him know we're going rogue and open up the discussion for server choice.

My plans were to go to bed early and set my alarm for 3:30am... This would give me enough time to make coffee, shower, brush my teeth and login at 4am. Now it's sort of in limbo... I don't mind if they start early, I just wish it was a definite time, rather than a 3 hour window.

I'm not sure it was wise of them to announce that, LOL. Undoubtedly people would've tried earlier and found out anyway, but now they've effectively moved their Headstart up by three hours. If I knew better how to use Vent, I'd probably be on there too..
