Re: Reddit rolling on CD
During the last stress test I checked and could see at least a half-dozen + players are already on CD...many of us not and I was one of them.
I take it that everything is going to be wiped down to ground zero, including previous server selections and it will be a race for all of us to get on CD? (I'm assuming this is the case.)
I'm not quite up to speed where Reddit is concerned...again I'm assuming it's their size that becomes and issue for us... and it's not political issues with them?
Just a quick thought...how about making a fast poll for emergency votes to see how many have head-start access and how many will have to wait until the actual release date to select a server...with a third choice on the poll for "later than that."
If this could be done quickly enough some valuable numbers float to the surface which would give a more accurate assessment of how to proceed with main and backup servers and who might end up going where. Luck is going to play an important roll in this no doubt but a poll like that can make it easier to see who may get left out of CD and how best to cover them.
