On November 24th, 2012, Stonewall Fleet hosted an impromptu Trek Trivia event at the Stonewall Fleet Embassy to New Romulus! This marked the first official use of our new Embassy for fleet business!

At 5:00 PM PDT / 8:00 PM EST, more than twenty Stonewall Fleet members filled the Embassy's conference room and participated in a 45 question, Star Trek trivia event! The first participant to correctly answer each question, was awarded a point, until all 45 questions were presented!




Sweeping the scoreboard was Calandra@KiriAmaya, who was declared the winner of the event, with an amazing 21 points!




Prizes were awarded as follows:

First Place: A unique Holo-Leeta duty officer, and 'Convention Veteran' title unlock!
Second Place: 500,000 Energy Credits
Third Place: 500,000 Energy Credits
Participation: Various skill and fleet credit bonus pools!

I'm pleased to announce that ALL participants received a prize for their participation in the 90 minute event! Great laughs and times were had by all who attended!

With the success of this event, we'll be looking to host similar events in the future, with MORE prizes, and MORE award categories! Thank you to all who attended, and helped make this event a tremendous success on short notice!

I'm hoping to get feedback from membership about when the best times would be, and I'd love to coordinate with someone across the pond to hold other time slots. The first time I'll just be on most of the day doing impromptu groupings and gathering feedback.

I've already put my pre-order in on Amazon and am going to schedule a few days off of work the week it comes out to play.

Geeky - sure, but beyond STO it's been the only game I've been excited to play for a long time.

This sounds like a terrific idea. Very nice of you to take the initiative with a project like this :) I'll be happy to help out when my work schedule allows, and I also have a Tuffli freighter that I can bring to help out with!

How do you plan on announcing the times that these groups will run? Or will this be more of an impromptu gathering? Looking forward to helping!

If you need to borrow a ferengi to nip to your freighter to purchase goods I am on call whenever online. Can keep a small stock in fleet bank.

So basically this is my thought process. The main Stonewall Fleet holdings are moving along at a pretty steady pace, but the House of Nagh reD and Deep Space Stonewall holdings are getting, well held up.

My idea is that we can gather a few times a week to focus on one of those fleet holdings and work on whatever resources are currently or soon to be needed.

I'll have my Ferengi toon and freighter on hand for the discounts [they're not on the same toon tho :-(], and hopefully we'll get someone with another freighter or ferengi, so we can buy needed commodities at a very discounted rate. If I can secure fleet captain or officer approval/assistance, I also hope to be able to earn stuff for the next projects that are due to open, and maybe even have the task-force help decide what projects to run.

Please check the link below. Take note of the updated time in the first row. This way you can get an idea for where the greatest needs are at a glance.

I've put some entries to the data in boldface. These are the goals that I feel need the most work and attention to be completed.
The idea of the Taskforce is that we can focus all our efforts onto the same goal, allowing each item to finish more quickly.

Currently the single most needed resource in each fleet is for the upgrade projects. Please focus on giving dilithium to the projects listed below in whatever fleet you prefer to play on.

Remember, the Main fleet is moving along pretty quickly on its own, so don't forget to pitch in for the KDF fleet and Alt fleet

Special note regarding doffs, commodities, consumables:
At the fleet base you can purchase duty officers of the desired rarity and career division, for the cost of fleet credits. Also, duty officers from one faction can be given to the other factions fleet, so if you've got the spare doff on a fed and the KDF side needs it, feel free to trade it to a klink toon for deposit.

For all commodities/consumables/etc, basically anything you purchase for EC, there are tricks to getting the best prices. One trick is to always buy commodities from a freighter bridge if somebody has one. Also ferengi get a discount on EC prices, so whenever I can get my ferengi onto a freighter, I'd be glad to purchase things for fleet members to donate.

Very sad indeed. So many misunderstood people have lost their lives by the hand of those that consider themselves to be above the law. I truly hope some day all the hate will end but I am so afraid it won't. There are just too many sick people in this world that feel they have the innate right to decide someone that's different from them has to die. :(

I'm in Stonewall Fleet in STO, but in WOW and SWTOR I am GM of a raid guild. I'd like to extend a hand of friendship to Stonewall. I see we're all on "The Harbinger" server.

We have a public channel that we use for people who are friends of the guild to come in and try to find people for FP, PVP, or Ops. We don't recruit people in the channel, so there is no concern of poaching.

feel free to join the channel. We have 2 Ops teams running, and occasionally look to PUG a spot or two. We always have people running PVP or HM FP's at night, so it's a good chance to socialize with some people and get a little action in.
