Re: worth the money?

Hey Commissar, I'm on at various times. I'm one of the captains, so if you have any questions, I'd be happy to help in addition to Ltervlet.

I'm with Ltervlet. I think the $15/month is well worth it if you can afford it. Then again, this is from the perspective of a subscriber who has always been a subscriber since launch. The restrictions are odd and don't break the game, but make it less enjoyable. You get to do more varied activities with subscriptions, too. For me, as much as I play I get my $15 worth of enjoyment out of the game every month and don't feel the need to make many purchases from the Cartel Market (other than the occasional increase in companion affection, speed at which they sell junk items, and crafting buffs).

When you get to The Harbinger, make sure you join the chat channel for the side you're playing on so if someone is on, we can get you an invite.
For Republic, type: /cjoin KoS
For Empire, type: /cjoin LoS

Let me know if you need any help, advice, changes on the game since you were last here. See you in-game!

I don't think ESO will be modable, aside maybe from making missions (like the foundry in STO).
For this weekend's beta I received an extra code.
If someone wants to have it, send me a pm.

Is there some sort of Stonewall guild already in ESO? If so, I would like to be part of it :woohoo:

Re: G.K.O.S. Guardian Knights Of Starfleet Alliance

March 01 2014
Greetings Gentlemen,

Thank you for contacting us. It's our understanding that you're looking for an alliance between our two fleets and we thank you for reaching out to us, but I regret to inform you that we generally don't agree to any formal alliances. Not because we don't appreciate them, but because there's no means or purpose to them in Star Trek Online.

To that end, we've extend both of you invitations to our fleet channel, StonewallFleet. We use this channel to communicate between all of our fleet members, regardless of which of our four in-game fleets that they are currently in. You are welcome to use it to chat with our membership and team up with us in-game.

If you'd like to organize any co-fleet events, we'd be happy to arrange something with you. Feel free to contact Admiral Izzy for more social events, Admiral Thompson for more combat related events or myself if you need any assistance. If you have any more specific requests, feel free to message me or any of the other Admirals.

Thanks,
Fleet Admiral NicholasJohn16

Stonewall Fleet - Prize Donation Drive

February 28 2014
Hello Stonewall!

The Stonewall Fleet Morale Department is excited to announce our first ever Prize Donation Drive! This drive is designed to gather up more trade-able prizes to store in the fleet vaults for use in upcoming and future Fleet Events and Activities. The Morale Department has been running a variety of fun fleet events over the past couple of years. The newest ones including: The Random Dance Parties, Galaxy Pub Crawls, and our ever popular Quarterly Weekend Events!

We also have a couple of new events lined up; some have already been announced like the Name That Tune Competition, but there are more on the horizon! We love offering new and fun events for each of you to partake in with your fellow fleet mates. We also love giving out coveted shinies to those who participate in the events we host. Since our calendar of events has increased, we have started to run low on things to give away!

The objective of this Fleet Wide Prize donation drive is to encourage all of you to part with some of the fun things you have been hoarding away in your newly expanded personal banks and inventory. Our primary goal is to collect 500 individual items during this Donation Drive. The Drive will last from Friday, February 28th through Monday, March 31st. You may donate multiple items, or multiples of any one item, you may also donate as much as you would like over the course of the Drive. All Individuals who participate in the Prize Donation Drive will receive a participant forum badge.

We will also be awarding one top prize for the individual who donates the largest total donation (in fair market EC value) to the fleet. The Grand prize is a Lobi store ship of the winners choosing, as well as a unique event winner forum badge!

We do have a few guidelines for the Prize Donation Drive (Please note that all items donated must be trade-able/exchangeable).

The following items will be accepted for the purposes of determining the Grand prize recipient:
 1. Most Lock Box items
 2. Most Lobi store items
 3. Most GPL store items
 4. Most Dilithium store items
 5. Most Holiday/Special Event store items
 6. Most Zen store items
 7. Very Rare or Ultra Rare Personal/Ship Items that are Mk XI or XII
The following items will not be accepted for the Prize donation drive:
 1. Mirror Universe Ships
 2. Common, Uncommon or Rare items (excluding special/unique prize packs)
 3. Items that are Mk X or below
 4. Tribbles (any rarity)
 5. Data Samples/Particle Traces
 6. Schematics
The idea behind these guidelines are to make sure that our bank spaces are not filled up with potentially lower tier or lower quality items. We want to have the very best donated to us, so we can in turn give it back to you!

If you have an item (or twenty) that you would like to contribute to the fleet; please send them via ingame mail to anyone of the Morale Department staff: @MrIzzy, @Eurrsk, @williamjaneway, or @Twinkle Boy. We will respond to your messages once the item has been logged and stored away in our vault.

Thank you in advance for your donations!

Galaxy Pub Crawl 28th February 2014

February 28 2014
Just a reminder everyone that the Galaxy Pub Crawl starts in 7 hours!!!

The first location will be RISA - Special Event Map
Bring your floater!!

KDF members wishing to participate can collect a Raiding Party buff by travelling to 'Traelus System' in the Eta Eridani Block (just south of the Sirius Sector Block entrance.) Look out for a friendly KDF called Gikrin, I.K.S. Axis.

Please arrive at this location prior to the start of the event. This character will not be available from 5 minutes before the start time. He will however be around 30 minutes before the start to give as many people an opportunity to gain access to Federation space.

Following a brief stint on RISA we will head over to Bajor, Defera, Drozana and finally at the Otha ground battle zone (because after we've had a few too many, we like to battle!). You may join us from the beginning and take off early, stay the whole time, or any time in between. Be sure to sign up so we know how many cases of Blood Wine to purchase!

Event Page

Prizes will be handed out to random participants at random locations! So be in it to win it!

See you all soon.

Re: "Shadows of the Past" by @backyardserenade

Hi there!

Today I played your mission "Shadows of the Past" and I only can say: "Wow! Amazing!!!"

A well written, exciting story. I really immerged into the mission and had a real Star Trek - well, in this case DS9 - feeling.

Pro:
- As I mentioned before: a good story
- Well designed locations
- Many ways/options for answering questions or how to proceed
- You could explore the area and talk to npc´s who hadn´t a big exclamation mark hovering over their heads^^
- Well, ok, it was MUCH text. But you told this in the mission description, so nothing to complain about^^

Contra:
- Your "ETA" in the mission description is 30+ min. Well, that´s a little bit understated. If I play a foundry I read all the text, I want to explore and not run through the maps for fast dil. 70 minutes would be more realistic.

Hmmm.... that´s it so far. Don´t ask me about spelling or grammar - English also isn´t my first language.

I´m looking forward to the sequel and hope that my criticism / statement was constructive.

Greetings, @chemistryset (K.E.)
