We will listen to this years songs together and background informations will be provided for each contestant and their songs. The songs will be streamed via Discord, song informations will be posted in the SFEvents channel in-game. To join the SFEvents channel in STO, simply post '/join_channel SFEvents' in chat.
We will gather on Risa's Beach Promenade and have an all around Eurovision fun quiz for everyone. It will be mostly multiple choice, previous ESC knowledge might be a plus, but is neither necessary nor expected. Winners will be rewarded Stonewall Credits (SWC)! Stonewall Credits can be redeemed in the Stonewall Credit Store for stunning items donated by our fellow fleet-members!
The Your-O-Vision Fashion Show will feature three categories. The winners of the fashion contest will be determined via in-game private messages by the traditional Eurovision voting system, which means all who participated get to vote for everyone but themselves. For each category, the winners will be awarded:
The three categories of the Fashion Show are:
1. Uni-colored
To shine in Eurovision some artists decide to wear a mono or uni colored outfit. This could be the classic diva dress in a kind of royal color like gold or white, or the always fashionable suit in either a formal mostly dark color or a squeaky bright color, or something else we never saw before, probably in pink. What color will you choose?
2. Multi-colored
To stand out against all those artists in their uni-colored outfits, some participants of Eurovision decide to wear as much colors as they can. Some choose to combine different uni-colored outfits together like the band Pollapönk in the year 2014, some go with the always stylish rainbow like Lydia in 1999. What spectrum do you belong to?
3. Look-alike
The Ted's favourite category is this one, as it reveals a bit about what you like in Eurovision. The songs, the artists, or simply the stylings? Show us what you like most in Eurovision by creating an outfit that looks like a contestant from the past or this years show!
You remember our Discord emote riddles from May'Qep? They are back, and now adapted for Eurovision. Guess the song by combining the emotes that we post in Discord chat.
Which song is your favourite this year? Listen to the 39 candidates and make your mind up about the 10 entries you want to reward with points. Each fleetie has the opportunity to give 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,10 and the famous 12 points (douze points). Just like the juries, who always vote before the Grand Final Live Show, you will have to fill out the voting form until May 13th. All submissions will receive 1 SWC as participation token.
Also, you get to choose which entity you want to represent as a jury: a city, a region or maybe the home planet of one of your toons. If you want to, you can announce your points personally during the voting procedures. Otherwise, the Teds will read them out for you. This way, at the end of the event we will have chosen Stonewall's Your-O-Vision winner 2021!
